OFF FRAME
You never touch the character. You move the camera.
OFF FRAME has one rule: if it's in the frame, it's real. If it's off the frame, it doesn't exist.
The Walker moves forward on its own whenever the ground ahead is in view, and stops the moment it isn't. Spikes, blades, lasers, crushers and collapsing floors are only solid and deadly while your camera can see them. Pan or zoom them out of frame and they freeze and go harmless. Pits work the other way round: framing a pit is what opens it.
How to play
- Drag with the left mouse button, or use WASD / arrow keys, to move the camera
- Hold J to zoom in, hold I to zoom out
- On touch screens, use the on-screen D-pad and + / − buttons
- R restarts the level, Esc pauses
- Get the Walker to the door while the door is in frame
Each level opens with a quick fly-over so you can memorize the traps. Deaths are instant, and so are retries.
Demo note
Some art in this build is AI-generated and is here for the demo only, so players can try and review the game mechanics.
